Meet the Owner
Sarah recognized a significant gap in access to health and safety advice and services, particularly for small to medium-sized organizations in need of support on either a full-time or part-time basis. This insight led to the creation of Primera, fueled by a strong commitment to empower those who require assistance.
Sarah has formal education in health, safety and environmental management, along with training in disability management and ergonomics. This is all solidified with 11 years of experience!
One of Sarah’s goals is to move towards ‘used documentation’. What isn’t read, isn’t used. She has been working to move companies away from paper, redundancy, and the dreaded “health and safety manual.” She aims to implement more functional tools that change cultures.

We will seamlessly adapt to this style with a few additions. We also have the ability to come up with cost-effective innovative solutions to better run safety within your business. Like a “free to you” employee app, or electronic hazard assessments.

Health and safety works best when it supports the way a business already operates. At Primera, we focus on practical, reasonable solutions that make sense for your time, budget, and business model. Our goal is to make safety feel less overwhelming and more useful by building it into your current operations and everyday business practices. Safety should support operations, not work against them.
We are good
Primera will provide you with professionals. Yes, we have administrative assistants to make things beautiful. However, the person handling the technical aspects will be certified by the Board of Registered Canadian Safety Professionals and is a Certified Health and Safety Consultant. You know you are getting quality, sound advice. We just want to add… at an affordable price!
